For Immediate Release: Tuesday, June 10, 2015
Evergreen, CO, June 10, 2015 -- Secure Outcomes Inc. announced today it has received its first order for a livescan fingerprinting system from a Texas law enforcement agency.
Live Oak, Texas Police Department ordered the system and will use the livescan fingerprinting unit from Secure Outcomes to collect forensic quality fingerprint sets for both criminal as well as for civilian applications such as employee background checks, federal security clearances, gun permits, etc.
The Secure Outcomes livescan system will collect and score scanned fingerprints, archive print sets into its internal database for later retrieval, and transmit the information on to the Texas Department of Public Safety AFIS (“Automatic Fingerprint Identification System”) in Austin for fast lookup with quick return of criminal histories/rap sheets back to the livescan system at the Live Oak police department.
If the Austin DPS AFIS has not seen the print set before, the data will automatically be forwarded on to the FBI for lookup in the federal AFIS system with the results returned to the Austin AFIS and then on back to the livescan system at Live Oak.
Jack Harper, CEO of Secure Outcomes, said, “We launched the LS1100/LS-Lite livescan fingerprint systems at the Texas Police Chiefs Association Annual Convention in Galveston a few weeks ago. I was heartened to receive an immediate 19 requests for formal quotation from Texas police departments at the show. Live Oak PD is the first purchase order to come in and I expect many more to follow. We soon will be setting up product demonstration tours throughout Texas with Secure Outcomes’ boots on the ground!”
Harper continued, “With nearly 2,000 law enforcement agencies, the most of any state, Texas represents a large dynamic market for Secure Outcomes. I am thrilled with the opportunity to provide the Texas law enforcement community our great systems that truly offer ‘Twice the Performance at Half the Cost!’©”
